Winnipeg Police Service responded to an assault in the 400 block of Notre Dame Avenue on Saturday evening, July 31, 2021.
Police were on scene for several hours and had a section of the south sidewalk cordoned off. A large puddle of blood could be seen on the sidewalk.
Members of the forensic unit arrived on scene to gather evidence and take pictures of the scene just after 10:00 pm.
