Winnipeg Police have a 34-year-old male in custody after they responded to the report of a man who had been shot on
Police say a male victim had been shot and sustained serious injuries to the upper body. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and remains there with life-threatening injuries.
Benny Lance Hansen from Winnipeg was arrested at the scene and charged for his alleged involvement with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Discharge Firearm
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance x 2 – Possess Firearm
Hansen remains in custody as the investigation continues
