No new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba on Saturday, May 9

No news cases of COVID-19 has been identified in Manitoba on Saturday, May 9, 2020. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases remains at 284.

Four people are currently being treated in hospital for the virus with no patients in intensive care.

The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Manitoba remains at Seven.

247 people have recovered from the virus with 30 cases still listed as active.

682 tests for COVID-19 were performed on Friday, May 8, 2020, bringing the total number of tests performed since early February to 30,014

Testing criteria now includes all symptomatic Manitobans. Anyone showing symptoms still needs to be referred for testing by calling Health Links at 204-788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257.
