Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to an early morning house fire Saturday morning, October 3, 2020, in the 700 block of Toronto Street.
As crews arrived on the scene they encountered heavy smoke coming from the building. An offensive attack was immediately launched and the fire was declared under control about 40 minutes later.
Firefighters searched the two-storey building and confirmed no one was inside. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
