No charges laid after police investigate two suspicious incidents

Winnipeg Police reported two suspicious incident involving children and the driver of a white car last week.

One of the incidents occurred in River Height on November 3, the other took place in the Elmwood area of the city two days later.

In both incidents the driver approached 12-year-old girls and asked then to get in the car with him. Both youth refused and made it to safety.

Members of the Winnipeg Police Child Abuse Unit investigated and were able to identify the vehicle and the driver.

No charges have been laid say police and there is no threat to the public at this time.
