A teen from Niverville is being investigated by the RCMP after he posted a picture of a gun on social media with the comment “school is going to be fun tomorrow”
The 16-year-old male is a student at Niverville Collegiate.
Police say they became aware of the post around 10:30 pm on Tuesday night.
As the investigation unfolded RCMP were able to identify the teen and locate the weapon which turned out to be a BB gun.
At this point, no charges have been laid but the investigation is on-going.
