Lynn Lake RCMP has arrested and charged a group of nine male youths in connection to a break-in at a business in the community.
According to police they were called to the business at 8:10 am on August 9, 2021, and learned the youth had gained entry to the business through a window. While inside the building they caused significant damage and stole a large sum of cash, cartons of cigarettes, alcohol and food.
The break-in was caught on surveillance video which was provided to investigators.
Officers identified the youth, aged 13 to 15, and took them into custody. A large portion of the stolen cash and some of the cartons of cigarettes were recovered.
All nine youths were released and are scheduled to appear in court at the end of September.
RCMP continue to investigate.
