RCMP have released more information on a story News 4 first told you about on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
Police executed nine search warrants in connection to an organized crime investigation. Seven were executed in Winnipeg, including one in Centennial Street in River Heights, one in St Laurent and one in Calgary, Alberta.
Police say that the raids resulted in a substantial seizure of Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Cash. Police also seized a number of motor vehicles.
The total value of the drugs and cash seized has yet to be determined but RCMP says that they expect this will be one of the largest Meth seizures in Manitoba.
Investigators arrested nine people, including a full-patch member of the Hells Angels. All nine face charges for their alleged involvement under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The accused are:
- Kenny ERSTELLE, 38-years-old (Hells Angels member)
- Lord Kofi AGYAPONG-MENSAH, 40-years-old
- Anthony CEREZO-BRENNAN, 31-years-old
- Ryan CEREZO-BRENNAN, 32-years old
- Akhome MANOTHAM, 42-years-old
- Dillon MIDDLETON, 25-years-old
- Ritchie ORBEGOSO, 34-years-old
- Linda PELLETIER, 41-years-old
- Jian SHEN, 37-years-old
Police say that additional charges of money laundering have also been laid in relation to this investigation.
RCMP say that they will release more information on Tuesday next week.
