Prairie Dog Central Railway – “The Great Train Robbery” 

Rumour has it that those dreaded robbers on horseback are up to their tricks again and are waiting to ambush the next passenger train that heads up the line. Stay prepared and look out for these pesky outlaws as we travel to the rural community of Grosse Isle. On arrival at our destination take time to visit the newly renovated Heritage House, indulge in some fresh baking and take stroll around the small number of craft stands. This exciting day is topped off with live music by Fire and Ice.

Canadian Human Rights Museum – Family fun every Sunday!

Spend an afternoon with your family and explore the Museum. Every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. our scavenger hunt is available. You can also participate in special programs designed for families and kids of all ages.

Dinosaurs Alive! – Assiniboine Park Zoo

Featuring dinosaurs that lived across the globe, the exhibit includes well-known species such as the three-horned Triceratops and the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex, as well as some of the latest paleontological finds including the Mojoceratops and Kosmoceratops, both discovered in 2010. In addition to the dinosaurs themselves, the exhibit features a dig site and excavation site where children of all ages can discover what it’s like to be a palaeontologist.

The TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes provides individuals touched by T1D the opportunity to unite with others with a similar passion, and to raise critical funds for research.
