A pickup truck and the trailer it was towing were turned into scrap metal after being involved in an accident with a Transport Truck on the South Perimeter Highway around noon on Tuesday. Two people have been taken to hospital in stable condition.

Westbound traffic on the perimeter between Pembina and Kenaston is down to only one lane. Police request drivers avoid area.
