Winnipeg Police are investigating an assault outside the Palomino Club in the early morning hours of January 1, 2020.
Investigators say a male in his 20s walked into a Winnipeg Hospital with a stab wound just before 3:30 am. He was in unstable condition at the time but has since been upgraded to stable.
Police responded to the hospital and their investigation led them to the sidewalk outside the Main Street bar.
Police tape has cordoned off an area in front of the club and evidence markers can be seen scattered across the sidewalk.
Members of the WPS Major Crimes Unit are continuing to investigate.
