The federal, provincial and civic governments announced a new project to Adsum Park that will see a new accessible spray pad, asphalt paths and seating areas, fencing, benches, picnic tables, shade structures and landscaping.
The $1 million project will see $400,000 come through the Canada Community Building Fund, $300,000 from the provincial Building Sustainable Communities Program, and $300,000 from the City’s Land Dedication Reserve Fund.
The project is expected to begin construction in 2023 with the spray pad open to the public in summer 2024.
