The City of Winnipeg broke ground on Thursday, July 14, 2022, to upgrade existing tennis courts at Jill Officer park in North Kildonan.
The original four tennis courts will be reconfigured into two tennis court and four pickle ball courts. The project will also new asphalt, benches, garbage bins, fencing, repairs to the parking lot and landscaping. The total cost for the project is about $230,000. The project is expected to be completed later this year.
