The new mobile COVID-19 testing site opened this morning at 1181 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg.
The mobile site is designed to provide immediate increased testing capacity to areas of the province to deal with a spike in cases.
The mobile site will be operating in Winnipeg seven days a week from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm until three new drive-thru testing sites are up and running.
The new drive-thru sites in the city will be located on Regent Avenue West, on King Edward Street in the Polo Park area and one in the south area. A fourth drive-thru site may be added if needed in Winnipeg.
Outside the city additional drive-thru sites will be added in Brandon, Winkler. Portage la Prairie and Dauphin in the coming weeks.
