Manitoba Hydro will have a new person at the helm beginning February 4, 2019
On Thursday, November 1, 2018, Premier Brian Pallister announced that Jay Grewal will take over the duties from outgoing Manitoba Hydro president and CEO Kelvin Sheperd.
“I am honoured to announce the appointment of Jay Grewal as the first female president and CEO of one of our province’s most important Crown corporations,” Pallister said. “We could not be more excited to have her as part of our team.”
Grewal comes from the top job at Northwest Territories Power Corporation and has worked in a number of other executive positions across her career.
Shepherd will remain in charge until February 1, 2019
