Residents of Windsor Park will see a significant boost to local emergency services as the new fire-paramedic station at 1083 Autumnwood Drive officially begins operations tonight, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
The state-of-the-art facility will provide 24/7 coverage, housing a team of fire and paramedic personnel. This includes an engine and crew, a rescue unit and crew (equipped for hazardous materials response), an ambulance and crew, and a dedicated fire investigator.
While the station is now operational, the City of Winnipeg is planning a formal commissioning ceremony and public open house for the spring of 2025. This event will provide an opportunity for residents to tour the facility, meet the fire and paramedic crews, and learn more about the services provided.
