The Public Utilities Board have approved an increase of the current Primary Gas rate from $0.0932/m3 to $0.1081/m3 effective November 1, 2020.
The increase is expected to increase the average residential customer bill by approximately 5.6 per cent which is about $31 per year.
The Primary Gas rates will be reviewed again on February 1, 2021.
Primary Gas rates for customers that have signed fixe d-term fixe d-price contracts, with eith er Centra or a private broker, are not affected.
