Natural gas prices increasing after PUB approval

Manitoba’s Public Utility Board (PUB) has approved a rate increase to the Prime Gas Rate effective November 1, 2021.

The rate will increase from $0.1323/m3 to $0.1916/m3 or about 17.1 per cent. For the average residential customer that would mean about a $124 per year increase.

Primary gas rates will be reviewed again in February 2022.
