The Public Utilities Board (PUB) has approved an application by Centra Gas to increase the Gas Commodity rate from $0.1977/m3 to $0.2396/m3 as of November 1, 2022.
It is estimated that the increase will add about $100 per year to the typical residential customer.
Gas Commodity is sold on a cost recovery basis and does not generate profit on its sale by Centra.
Centra’s Gas Commodity rate will be reviewed again on February 1, 2023.
