The Manitoba RCMP has provided an updated timeline of a tragic series of events that unfolded in the RM of McCreary. According to investigators with RCMP Major Crime Services, the incident began at approximately 1:20 am when Marlon Glover, a 41-year-old male, forcibly entered the residence of a 37-year-old female with whom he had a previous relationship.
The female managed to escape and hide in a nearby wooded area. Glover then proceeded to a nearby home where he killed three individuals: a 66-year-old female, a 65-year-old male, and a 35-year-old male. These victims were identified as the parents and brother of the female.
After the killings, Glover left the residence in his vehicle. He was later found on the side of road 84 West, having died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The female was safely located at approximately 12:40 pm and taken to the hospital as a precaution. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
The RCMP continues to investigate the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward.
