As News 4 told you earlier this week a 42-year-old inmate at Stony Mountain Institution was killed as a result of an altercation in the prison on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

RCMP have arrested and charged six inmates with various charges relating to the murder.
Victor Travis Ross, 29, Michael Frank Okemow, 29 and Wilfred George Cook, 27 have been charged for their alleged involvement with Second-Degree Murder.
Anthony Michael Mitchell, 25, James Fredrick Sinclair, 20 and 22-year-old Michael Roulette are all facing Attempted Murder charges for their alleged involvement.
Police have also charged another inmate 26-year-old Stephen Lee Donovan Houle with Assault with a Weapon for his involvement.
