Winnipeg Police have arrested two men and a woman for multiple break-ins across the city since December 2017.
Police say their Major Crimes Unit have been involved in the lengthy investigation that started with the theft of a rental car in December.
The suspects can all be placed at a business in the 600 block of Kildare Avenue East on December 18, 2017, where they attempted to break-in and caused substantial damage to the front door.
The trio then broke into a Waverley Street business on December 30, 2017, stealing money, electronics and other items.

Several other businesses were broken into on Stadacona Street, London Street, Pembina Highway and St. Anne’s Road throughout the month of January 2018.
The suspect also allegedly stole vehicle licence plates January 7/8 and again on January 13/14.
On February 1, 2018, the suspects tried but were unable to get into a business in the first 100 block of Red River Boulevard. They did cause damage to the front door.
Police say that just after 12:30 am on February 1, 2018, they made a traffic stop after seeing a stolen vehicle in the area of Main Street and Red River Boulevard.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a number of items including:
- Both stolen licence plates
- A large amount of personal mail belonging to numerous different addresses
- Personal property in the form of identification, retail and payment cards belonging to numerous people
- Break-in instruments
- One shotgun shell
Emery Peter Smith, 41, William Michael COVEY, 35 and Christi Gay KENNEDY, 41 all from Winnipeg, have been charged for their alleged involvement with numerous Break and Enter related offences.
