Renovations to begin right away
MTS Centre in Winnipeg will be getting a facelift to it’s concourse at a cost of $12 million.
True North Sports and Entertainment say that they will be installing new signage, new lighting, new floors and even new ceilings.
The new renos will have an aviation theme and the colour scheme will be in the palette of the Winnipeg Jets Brand. There will be lots of glass, steel and rivets.
Planning for the new look began three years ago according to True North and will also see work inside the atrium at Portage Ave.
New food and beverage options will also be part of the revamp which is sure to please some Jets fans.
