The Court of Queen’s Bench in Manitoba has approved the sale of MTS to BCE, the parent company that owns Bell.
The $3.9 Billion deal was approved last week by the shareholders of MTS.
The next hurdles are the Competition Bureau, Canadian Radio & Television Commission (CRTC) and the minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
It is expected that the friendly takeover will be completed by late this fall or early 2017.
