Winnipeg Police shut down the northbound lanes of the midtown bridge just before midnight on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 for an investigation into a single vehicle crash.
Around 11:45 pm the motorcycle hit the median. A female, who was a passenger on the motorcycle was critically injured and rushed to hospital.
The driver also suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Police had the bridge closed until around 10:40 am on Thursday while members of the Traffic Unit investigated.
