The Winnipeg Police Service Sex Crimes Unit have laid additional charges against a former high school football coach after another victim came forward.
In April 52-year-old Kelsey Albert Dana McKay was charged with 22 sexual assault and exploitation-related charges after eight former students reported incidents of sexual abuse that happened from the late 1990s to the 2000s.
The accused was a physical education teacher and coached football at Churchill High School and Vincent Massey Collegiate for about 20 years.
On September 7, 2022, McKay was charged for his alleged involvement for two additional offences, Sexual Assault and Luring a Child Under 18.
He was released on conditions.
