Two more patients have tested positive for COVID-19 at Victoria General Hospital (VGH) in Winnipeg.
The new cases are linked to the outbreak in the 5N and 5S family medicine units.
As of Wednesday October 28, 2020, 21 patients and 19 staff members are confirmed to have tested positive for the virus.
One patient linked to the outbreak at VGH died after being transferred to St. Boniface Hospital.
Patients at VGH who test positive for COVID-19 are transferred to acute care hospitals for treatment.
Clinics and procedures at VGH are continuing as usual.
