Manitoba Enforcement Officers continue to issue tickets to individuals and businesses who were caught violating provisions of the public health order restrictions related to COVID-19
From January 11 to January 17, 2021, 183 warnings and 77 tickets were issued for various offences.
One ticket for $5,000 was issued to a business, 66 individuals received $1296 fines and nine people received $298 tickets for failure to wear a mask in indoor public places.
Officials say that 45 of tickets were issued for gatherings in private residences or outdoors including nine that were issued at a protest at Bell MTS place on January 14.
Tickets were also issued to a number of attendees of a protest in Steinbach on Saturday January 16.
