On Thursday October, 29, 2020, St. Boniface Hospital reported that two more patients and one staff member have tested positive after the hospital began targeted testing on the affected units.
The total number of cases related to the outbreak now stands at 25 patients and 11 staff.
So far there have been four deaths related to outbreaks in Winnipeg hospitals, three directly related to St. Boniface and one patient who was transferred to St. Boniface related to the Victoria Hospital outbreak.
Visitor restrictions are in place at St. Boniface Hospital and testing of patients and staff continues.
The hospital continues to operate clinics and procedures within the facility at this time. Some surgeries have been postponed.
