It’s not something you see every day in the big city but it is something that will turn your head as it runs by.

A calf moose is at large in the Wildwood area of the city and causing quite a commotion.

Manitoba conservation officers are tracking the four legged giant after it was spotted earlier Friday afternoon, September 8, 2017.

Conservation officers say that the last reports of the moose’s location was near Crescent Drive Golf Course.

Officers are hoping to corral the animal or move it into an area where it can safely be tranquillized.
