– – Winnipeg Police reported on Thursday August 5, 2021 that Helena has been safely located.
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 12-year-old female, Helena Head-Shingoose.
Helena Head-Shingoose was last seen on the afternoon of July 30, 2021, in the Maples area of the city.
Helena Head-Shingoose is described as Indigenous, 5’9” in height, heavier build, with long straight dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, black shorts, and black slip-on Nike sandals.
The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned for Helena Head-Shingoose’s well-being and is asking anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
