On Wednesday October 12, 2016 Winnipeg Police shared information about the on-going investigation into the disappearance of 57 year old Thelma Krull.
Krull went missing in the early morning hours of July 11, 2015.
Police believe that she suffered some form of distress and may have had a medical issue or possibly been abducted.
A number of items belonging to Krull were found shortly after she went missing.
In July of 2016, on the anniversary of her disappearance, police appealed to the public for any information that might help investigators.

In the days following the press conference information was received regarding a possible sighting of Thelma around Kimberly Avenue, east of Gateway Road around the time she disappeared in 2015. A female with similar descriptors of Krull was reported to be in the company of a heavy set male, aboriginal in appearance, approximately 5’8″ tall, 270 lbs., with a bowl style haircut.
Police believe that this information has the potential to impact the investigation but need more information to assess the validity of the sighting.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have information regarding the possible sighting of Thelma in the presence of an aboriginal male.
