MISSING | ONE YEAR AGO TODAY THELMA KRULL WENT MISSING…POLICE NEED YOUR HELP.

It has been a year since Thelma Krull, 57 went missing in Winnipeg on July 11, 2015.

Thelma went for a walk at 7:23 a.m.

It is believed that she walked from her home to the area known as Civic Park, located directly behind Kildonan-East Collegiate.

Thelma arrived at this location at about 8:00 a.m., where she experienced some type of distress. A man and woman were also seen in this area on July 11, 2015 at approximately 8:00 a.m. They are described as Caucasian and in their 30’s.

Investigators found Thelma’s glasses and cellphone in the area.

Although Thelma is still considered a missing person the investigation has been taken over by the Homicide Unit. Investigators are asking the public for help.

Anyone who was in and around the area of Civic Park during the early morning of July 11, 2015 is asked to come forward, if you haven’t already made contact with investigators. If you have a suspicion, or a gut feeling about someone who lives in, works, or is somehow associated to the area that may assist the investigation, please contact us immediately.

Police are specifically looking to identify a woman who was walking in the area the morning of the disappearance.

Despite receiving over 240 tips from members of the public, more information is still needed.

Thelma is described as a Caucasian female, 5’4” tall, 170 pounds and short dyed blonde hair with a purple streak. Investigators would like to remind the public that Thelma was last seen wearing the following items:

  • Reddish – orange t-shirt (this is a bright coloured shirt)
  • ¾ length black Capri style pants
  • Black fanny pack
  • tan / brown hiking style boots / shoes
