Missing man’s vehicle turned up burned in Winnipeg

RCMP say that the vehicle belonging to missing 56-year-old Bud Paul turned up on August 10 after it was set on fire.

Police say the vehicle was located in the 200 block of Queen Street and investigators know the vehicle had been left there by a male and unknown female. The female took a taxi after abandoning the vehicle.

Bud Paul was last seen on August 1 at a liquor store in Neepawa with two unknown people. Police believed that the trio were heading to Dauphin at that time.

Paul was last heard from on August 4 and was reported missing to Winnipeg Police Service on August 7.

Police are asking for help to identify the woman in the taxi who allegedly abandoned Paul’s vehicle.

If anyone knows where the vehicle was between the August 1, 2020, and August 10, 2020, please call RCMP at 431-489-8551.

Police continue to investigate.
