Manitoba First Nations Police Service report that Lawerence Desmarais has been safely located.

Manitoba First Nations Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 83-year-old, Lawrence DESMARAIS. DESMARAIS was last seen when he dropped his son off to go hunting at Hollywood Beach in the RM of Westlake-Gladstone. This was at approximately 1 pm on November 5, 2018. DESMARAIS left in a red 2004 Ford Ranger, licence plate GZX 936 in an unknown direction.
DESMARAIS is described as First Nations, 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 150 lbs, slender thin build, and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a burgundy sweater, black pants, a tan vest and a cowboy hat.
Police are concerned for his well- being and are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact Manitoba First Nations Police Service, Sandy Bay Detachment at 204-843-7700.
