First Nations Police need help to find missing teen

LOCATED – – – MFNPS reported that Keelia has been safely located.


On July 9, 2020, Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) Officers received a report of a missing female from Long Plain First Nation.

Keelia Serenity Chantel LAPORTE, aged 16, was last seen shortly after midnight by her grandmother. She had been talking online with two girl-friends and was thought to have gone out with them shortly after. A follow up with the grandmother by Officers showed that she still has not returned home.

Laporte was last seen wearing a black shirt, black sweats and possible red running shoes. She is approximately 5’1”, 140 lbs and has long brown hair and brown eyes. She does have a twin sister. It is possible that she could be in the Portage la Prairie area as well.

Police are concerned for her well- being and are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact Manitoba First Nations Police Service.
