Police looking for help locating a missing female

Winnipeg Police say that April Carpenter was located on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, deceased. Investigators say that her body was pulled from the Red River around noon.

The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 23-year-old female, April Carpenter.

Carpenter was last seen in the West end of Winnipeg on Thursday, April 26th, 2018.

Carpenter is described as an Indigenous female, 5’7″, 130 lbs, with light brown shoulder length hair and noticeable dimples.

The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned about Carpenter’s well-being and is asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250
