Winnipeg Police Service announced on Thursday, January 28, 2021, that a missing 24-year-old male has been found dead.
Sami Uzzaman had not been heard from since January 9, 2021, and was reported missing on January 20.
A search in the Fort Garry area on January 27, by the Winnipeg Police Service’s Ground Search and Rescue team with help from Winnipeg Search and Rescue volunteers discovered Uzzaman’s body.
Police say that they do not believe foul play was involved in his death.
