Minnesota Sends Help!
Minnesota has sent two tanker aircraft and a Birddog observation and control plane to help fight the Caddy Lake fire on the border between Manitoba and Ontario.
The fire approximately 5,100 hectares (ha) in size has nearly doubled in the last 24 hours.
The east shore of Caddy Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park is closed until further notice and evacuation orders remain in effect. PR 312 remains closed.
