Man in critical condition after incident at Millennium Library
The Millennium Library in downtown Winnipeg closed down Thursday afternoon after police say a serious incident took place in the library.
Employees who witnessed the incident told News4 that a man appeared to have fallen from a fourth floor balcony.
Emergency medical personnel took one man to hospital in critical condition just before 2:00pm.
The library was closed to the public as police investigated and took statements from witnesses.
Officials with the city library say that they intend to open Friday during regular business hours.
There is no official confirmation of incident details or the current condition of the man taken to hospital
