Milestone reached Saturday as 30% of adult Manitobans vaccinated

Health and Seniors Care Minister Heather Stefanson announced on Saturday April 24, 2021, that 30 per cent of Manitobans over the age of 18 have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

So far in the campaign 413,607 first and second doses have been administered this is equal to 31.4 per cent of all adults in the province the minister noted.

“I thank everyone from immunizers to our planning teams for their hard work and dedication, because every day we are protecting thousands more Manitobans and their families with this vaccine. I recently received my own first dose of AstraZeneca and am pleased to do my part to help protect my family and community,” said Stefanson.
