Drug bust takes more meth off the streets

Early Sunday morning, May 26, 2019 police went to a residence in the 400 block of Cumberland Street looking for a male with an outstanding warrant.

The suspect was found inside an open suite sitting in front of drugs and a scale.

The suspect was arrested on the warrant and searched. During the search officers found just over 100 grams of methamphetamine in several plastic baggies.

Police then applied for a drug search warrant and just after 8:30 am that same morning they searched the suite netting an additional 126 grams of meth, a dime bag containing cocaine, drug packaging materials and two cell phones.

Officers estimate the street value of the meth is close to $10,000

Robert Taylor Henderson, 28 from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possession of a Scheduled Substance, Methamphetamine, for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possess Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.

He was detained in custody.
