A 22-year-old male robbery suspect admitted to police after he was arrested that he had injected methamphetamine earlier in the day.
Moses Bradley Swan from Winnipeg allegedly walked into a convenience store in the 100 block of Hargrave Street and demanded that the employee let him into an attached building.
When the employee refused Swan pulled a knife and tried to steal lottery tickets. He was unsuccessful and took off on foot.
Police searched the area and located Swan near Garry Street and St. Mary Avenue. He was arrested and the knife was found in his pants pocket.
Swan is now facing charges for Robbery, Carry Concealed Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition. Possess Weapon, Fail to Comply with Probation x4.
He was detained in custody.
