RCMP have charged a 34-year-old male suspect from Melita, Manitoba in connection to a break-in in the RM of Pipestone.
Police say that on Sunday September 20, 2020, a construction site storage trailer was broken into and a number of items were stolen including hand tools, power tools, a barbecue , electronics, clothing and other items.
Investigators were led to a Government Road property in Melita where they believed the stolen items were being stored. Officers executed a search warrant and recovered some of the stolen items. They also recovered a riding mower that had been stolen in another incident a few weeks earlier.
Steven Stewart Lundle has been charged for his alleged involvement with four counts of Possession of Stolen Property. An arrest warrant has been issued for Lundle.
