Steinbach and Hanover firefighters were called to the McMunn & Yates outlet on Highway 12 in Steinbach around 6:30 pm Saturday evening, November 14, 2020.
When crews arrived they were greeted with heavy smoke and flames shooting out of the front of the building. A defensive attack was launched.
Crews battled the blaze for several hours and brought in an excavator to rip down the buildings facade so that fire crews could access hot spots.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
