The first warm weather long weekend of the year is upon us and with it comes the annual question – “What is there to do this weekend?”

Here are a few ideas to help you fill the days leading up to Victoria Day celebrations.

Check out the carnival and BBQ @ Heritage Victoria Community Club
950 Sturgeon Road, Winnipeg

Manito Ahbee festival is on this weekend and if you have never been you should check out the international Pow Wow at the Convention Centre.

Royal Winnipeg Air Museum is open this long weekend and is a great place to explore for the whole family

Oak Hammock Marsh is another family friendly destination. Not only is it a fun place to visit it is also educational

Go back to a simpler time and visit Lower Fort Garry. It is just north of Winnipeg and is open this weekend from 9:30 am –5 pm
