On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, RCMP provided an update regarding the mass casualty collision that occurred on June 15, 2023, on the Trans-Canada Highway near Carberry, Manitoba.
Police say that a female who was injured during the collision and had been in hospital since that day died from her injuries on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Her death brings the total to 16 people who died as a result of the crash.
RCMP have scheduled a media conference for Thursday afternoon, June 22 where they will release the names of all the victims who died in the collision.
