Winnipeg will still require mask use in all city-operated facilities and on Winnipeg Transit as the province is set to relax public health orders on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
In a media release issued on Friday the city says “As part of our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our residents and employees, the City of Winnipeg will continue to require face masks in all City-operated facilities and vehicles”
The city noted that capacity at fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor pools and libraries will be increasing over the coming weeks.
