St. Boniface city councillor Matt Allard is telling media that the city can’t afford the price tag associated with the Marion Street underpass project.
According to a study that will be delivered next week to the city the cost of the underpass would be more than half a billion dollars.
The report recommends that the city look at other options that are less expensive to ease the backlog of traffic that occurs overtime a train crosses Marion.
