RCMP have charged 20-year-old Jordan Belyk with manslaughter in the death of a 19-year-old Pointe du Bois woman on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
Just before 6:30 am, RCMP received a call from the victim indicating she was in need of emergency help.

When officers arrived they found the victim was suffering from life-threatening injuries and she was taken to hospital where she died of her injuries.
Belyk was arrested in the area shortly after they arrived on scene.
The homicide investigation continues.
